Tomato Sandwich
Experience summer's simplicity with an heirloom tomato sandwich. Sliced untoasted white bread provides the perfect base for showcasing vibrant heirloom tomatoes, complemented by Tellicherry black pepper and flaky sea salt. Enjoy the fresh flavors in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of untoasted white bread
  • 1-2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced
  • 1-2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon Telicherry black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pacific flake sea salt

Directions

  1. Slice the heirloom tomatoes into thin, even slices.
  2. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Arrange the tomato slices on one slice of bread.
  4. Sprinkle freshly ground Tellicherry black pepper and Pacific flake sea salt over the tomato slices to taste.
  5. Place the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down, on top of the tomatoes to complete the sandwich.
  6. Slice the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately.
