Tea 101
Pink Chai is a symphony of warmth and floral notes, creating a mellow yet beautifully balanced brew. This all-in-one herbal blend features a base of honeybush and rooibos, layered with the playful zing of pink peppercorns and the delicate touch of roses. The mix is further enriched with cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, while a dash of sweet beet powder adds a lovely body and a hint of pink to your cup. Ideal for those seeking a velvety, caffeine-free brew, Pink Chai stands out with its unique composition and blush color.
Chai, which translates to "tea," traditionally refers to a spiced tea renowned across India and beyond. The evolution of chai blends, such as our Pink Chai, mirrors a history of cultural exchange and culinary innovation. Originally, masala chai was a simple concoction of tea and spices, consumed to warm and invigorate. Over time, regional variations emerged, incorporating local spices and brewing techniques, reflecting the diversity of the areas where it was embraced.
Pink Chai, in particular, represents a modern twist on this ancient beverage. By blending traditional chai spices with unexpected elements like beet powder and pink peppercorns, it offers a contemporary take that appeals to modern palates while nodding to its cultural history.
Pink Chai has a smooth, floral undertone that makes each sip a soothing experience. The inclusion of beet adds not only a visual delight with its pink hue but also a subtle sweetness that complements the spiciness of the traditional chai elements. It's our go-to for a comforting, caffeine-free treat that envelops the senses in warmth.
Did you know that the addition of beet powder to our Pink Chai isn't just for color? In this blend, it offers a subtle earthy sweetness that perfectly balances the spice of the chai.

It's definitely a staff favorite. Love the idea of using maple syrup in it! We usually do coconut milk with it, but will definitely try it with cream and maple syrup now.

I bought this for a friend for her birthday; she LOVES chai tea, roses, and the color pink. So I couldn't pass up picking up a pack for her. She says she loves it and that it isn't too floral as some other teas with roses can be, but I'll have to give it a try the next time we're together so I can properly comment on it.
So delicious! This chai is flavorful, it's easy to brew, it's comforting, and it legit turns pink in your milk/water mixture. I love that it is caffeine free! Often if a tea blend has rooibos in it, the flavor can be overpowering, but the rooibos plays a supporting role here. It's almost unrecognizable because the cardamom, pepper, rose, and other spices are more pungent. I highly recommend this product. It's amazing.
Since 1995 we've sourced and blended the finest flavors we can find. Nearly all of our spices are available whole or ground, and we grind in small batches shortly before shipping.
