Chicken fingers are a big win for parents and kiddos alike, so why not bake them at home? This recipe is super easy and an air fryer can be used, if you wish!

Our spice blends save you the work of gathering ingredients while creating a depth of flavor you simply won't get at the fast food joint. America's Seasoned Salt is classic and all purpose, and the Poultry Rub adds herbs and earthiness to the mix.

Even though these are baked, they give off fried vibes because the cornflake coating adds a delightful crunch and flavor to each bite. You can easily make this recipe gluten-free by swapping your regular corn flakes for ones without the gluten.

Cornflake Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  3. In a shallow bowl place the chicken tenders and evenly coat them with the sour cream or Greek yogurt. This will help the cornflake coating adhere to the chicken.
  4. In a shallow bowl, combine the finely crushed corn flakes, America's Seasoned Salt, and Poultry Rub. Mix these ingredients together thoroughly.
  5. Reserve one hand for touching the wet tenders and one dry hand to evenly coat them with the cornflake mixture.
  6. Place a sour cream-coated chicken tender in the cornflake mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks to the chicken. Make sure each tender is evenly coated with the cornflake mixture.
  7. Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the coating process with the remaining chicken tenders.
  8. Place the baking sheet with the coated chicken tenders in the preheated oven. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken tenders are cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F.
  9. Remove the cornflake chicken tenders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  10. Serve them hot as a delicious and crunchy snack or a main course. They pair well with your favorite dipping sauces such as ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.
