Cinnamon Toast Spice Applesauce

Cinnamon Toast Spice Applesauce

Get ready to rock the apple season with this killer 3-ingredient applesauce recipe!

We're talking 3 pounds of apples you picked at the orchard but now don't have any clue what to do with, hacked them into wedges, added in some apple juice, and taken the flavor to a whole new level with your childhood favorite: Cinnamon Toast Spice, bringing the flavors of apple pie and floral sweetness to the mash.

Blitz it with an immersion blender or give 'em a smashing mosh pit treatment. Vegan and gluten-free it's like nature's punk rock dessert. Your taste buds won't know what hit 'em! 🍎🤘

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. apples, peeled, cored, and roughly cut into large wedges
  • 3 cups apple juice
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon Toast Spice

Directions

  1. Slice up your apples.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large pot and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 30-45 minutes or until the apple juice has reduced down and the apples are falling apart and look saucy.
  3. Puree the contents of your pot into applesauce with an immersion blender or mash by hand.
  4. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
