This vegan dish is luscious and bold, but dish takes only minutes to make. Rich in flavor and textures, the crispy tofu gets bathed in a silky coconut cream sauce seasoned with our Indonesian Ayam. Our Indonesian Ayam seasoning is a mild curry that is sweet and earthy, so when you pair it with fresh aromatics like ginger, shallot and Thai basil, you get a dish that hits all the flavor notes. Learn morePorcini Soda Bread
Irish soda bread is one of the easiest quick breads to make, and it's very adaptable. Whole wheat, oats and rye flours make this a hearty loaf. For this version, we added a full complement of umami with earthy Porcini Pieces mushrooms and our bestselling Cascade Mushroom Mix. From there, we wanted to add some chewy bites, so sweet dried apricots and tart cherries made it into the mix as well. If you don't have dried tart cherries, dried cranberries are equally delicious in this soda bread. The end result was a delicious and hearty bread to brighten your St. Patrick's Day celebration, or to serve with soups or stews.
Learn moreCreole and Sorghum Roasted Brussels Sprouts
If you've never used sorghum before, now is your chance, and it is worth a trip to the market. Sorghum is a syrup made from a cereal grain and it tastes as if honey and molasses got together one night and did a little hanky panky. (Can't find sorghum syrup? Our Upper Left Madrona Smoked Honey makes a wonderful, lightly smoky substitute.) The sweet depth of flavor pairs beautifully with the heat of our Creole Spice on blistered corn and brussels sprouts. Add this to your menu for a quick and easy side dish that comes together quickly with minimal ingredients and maximum flavor.
Learn moreBulgogi Avocado Toast
Our Bulgogi Spice is a perfect flavor fit with eggs and avocados. A traditional Korean blend used to season grilled steak, it is equally at home here. We never tire of trying spice blends in new ways and this is a great example of how easy it can be. Now a brunch and breakfast staple, Bulgogi Avocado Toast is healthy and easy to make. The spicy tang of this seasoning comes from Korean chile flakes. It is also rich with umami from chive and onion and a little bit sweet from a pinch of brown sugar. The sesame seeds add texture and a nutty finish. Bulgogi Spice is the ideal way to add loads of flavor. Add a bright start to your morning with this dish.
Learn moreChinese Five Spice Fudge Pops
Make these fun and flavorful fudge-pops for any occasion, they are a festive treat! Chinese Five Spice is sweet with fennel and star anise and sassy with cloves and Sichuan pepper. Cinnamon is the fifth ingredient and when you bring it all together with dark chocolate it's a match made in heaven. The base comes together easily on the stovetop and we used small paper cups for the molds. You can decorate with toasted sesame seeds and gold luster dust like we did, but there are so many options! Try chopped peanuts, sprinkles or toasted coconut. Tiny but mighty in flavor, these creamy pops will satisfy your sweet tooth and are fun to make.
Learn moreBulgogi Caramel Corn
Celebrate in style! This treat is a great way to add festive flavor to the Lunar New Year party or your next movie night. Heat meets sweet in our Bulgogi Spice, and paired with the salty crunch of caramel corn, the result is sensational. Making caramel corn at home is a fun kitchen activity for young and old and once you see how easy it is you can make it any time and season it with all your favorite flavors. Make a little extra and bag some up for a friend.
Learn moreRanch Tuna Casserole
The only thing better than a warm tuna casserole is a warm RANCH tuna casserole. Flavor this nostalgic casserole with our house-made Ranch Seasoning and enjoy comfort food at is best. Easy to make on the stovetop with pantry staples and popped into the oven for a quick crisp on the topping, this is a hearty weeknight meal that comes together quickly. It will become a family favorite! As a mid-westerner, I was raised on Ranch and love the familiar flavors of garlic, dill and thyme that infuse every bite but you can mix it up with other seasonings and vegetables. Any way you choose to go, this is a perfectly saucy noodle dish that requires no fuss.
Learn moreTandoori Roasted Chicken
It may not be grilled over an open flame or cooked in a traditional clay oven, but this Tandoori Roasted Chicken is guaranteed to brighten your January. We've brought sunshine into the kitchen in the depth of winter with bright colors and flavors on the table. Our Tandoori chicken is bright in color and in spice. We skipped the red food coloring and went straight for the Beet Powder, combined with Tandoori Curry that contains turmeric, to give this dish a stunning presentation. Once cooked the beet powder mellows and adds crispiness to the chicken skin.
