Memorable Father's Day Martinis
Some of our father figures are known for their no-nonsense attitudes while other times their wit is endless. Either way, we've got a martini for him! For practical, no-nonsense Dad, we polished a classic Gibson martini with savory house-made pickled pearl onions. For sweet & silly Dad, we added fancy to a French martini with vanilla bean-infused vodka. Either way, he'll appreciate the extra touches and the time together to enjoy them. We know a lot of well rounded men who will love both!Infusing your own vodka is an absolute breeze and it is a great way to capture all the flavor from a precious Madagascar 3 Count Vanilla Bean. Once you make it, you'll never go back. We tapped our favorite local spirits for this recipe using Oola Distillery vodka for a smooth, clean finish. The playful froth in this martini comes from the shaken pineapple juice. Enjoy! The Gibson martini is traditional and crisp. We pickled our own pearl onions using our house blend Pickling Spice. We also used Oola's Gin that has been cask aged in old whiskey barrels which gives it a golden hue. Adding a dash of the brine to the martini makes the gin go down even easier and really completes it. At the end, you'll be left with a tasty pickled pearl onion. Now go make your dad a drink and raise a glass!
Learn moreButterfly Horchata
Aguas frescas vendors line parks in Mexico with their rainbow of brightly colored beverages. Of them all, horchata is my favorite. A creamy rice and almond blended brew with wisps of mild and exotic flavor from true cinnamon. Refreshing and sweet, horchata cuts the heat from popular Mexican street food and makes a perfect pitcher for any backyard BBQ. This season, we've given it a festive color boost with ice cubes made with butterfly pea flowers. Start a day ahead to make the ice and soak the ingredients for the horchata. The next day blend it up and you're good to go! As the ice cubes, melt they'll turn your horchata a sweet lavender color. True cinnamon might be thought of as more powerful or better than cassia cinnamon, which isn't the case. Of the two, cassia actually has stronger and spicier flavors whereas true cinnamon is more mild and less heat-forward. True cinnamon's soft bark makes it quick and easy to grind at home but also makes it more evanescent. Having fresh sticks and only grinding when need makes all the difference!
Learn moreRaspberry Pearl Sherbet and Cava Float
Jasmine Pearl tea is hand-picked and rolled green tea leaves. After harvest, the tea is laid out and covered with jasmine blossoms before being rolled. The resulting brew releases the light, heady scent of jasmine into your cup. Here we have combined the tea with tart raspberries and honey to compliment the floral aspects in Jasmine Pearl and created an elegant sherbet. With just a splash of vodka to preserve the flavor and consistency and after a quick spin in the ice-cream machine, voila! The flavors are sensational. While incredible on its own, this sherbet shines when added to a flute of brut cava or champagne. Garnish with a few fresh raspberries and you have the perfect drink to kick off patio season.
Learn moreParilla Piñarita
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Citrus and pineapple combine to quench your thirst in this classic cocktail. Charred pineapple adds extra flavor by fire with a smoky garnish. As if all that wasn't enough, we rimmed the glass with our Limón-Chile seasoning. Inspired by the classic Tajin spice, this irresistible seasoning adds a powerful spark of lime and chili to each sip. Make the Parilla Piñarita your summer grilling go-to, it's easy to shake one up when you fire the grill.
Learn moreNaughty Mayan Cocoa
Sweet and slightly spicy, Mayan Cocoa captures the indulgent spirit of the season. This decadent spice blend adds spicy notes like chile, cinnamon, allspice to a base of rich Valrhona cocoa powder for a bold beverage with multiple layers of flavor. To add a boozy kick, we opted to spike our cocoa with hazelnut liqueur and horchata-flavored rum. With a bit of whipped cream on top as a garnish, the cocktail is complete. This luscious concoction is sweet and delightfully bold... and it just might tempt you into seconds.
Learn moreMystic Hot Toddy
Whenever the cold weather rolls in, hot toddies always make an appearance on our seasonal cocktail menu! As a night cap or a happy hour libation, this bracing winter warmer is a perfect drink for a cold winter evening. For a new take on one of our favorites, we tried infusing a toddy with the warm, spicy layers of our Mystic Licorice tea to complement the bold fiery taste of the whiskey.Hot toddies are traditionally sweetened with honey, but this version doesn't need it. Licorice root naturally sweetens the toddy, and brings out the sweeter notes in the cinnamon, ginger, cloves and cardamom. Finish the drink with a squeeze of lemon and your favorite whiskey, and it's a delicious way to warm up your winter.Toddies also make excellent batch cocktails, too!
Learn moreDIY Amaretto
Better than store-bought, this liqueur boasts a rich caramel flavor embellished with toasted spices, almonds and apricots. Not for immediate gratification, this process takes a month to complete but the outcome is well worth it. Toasting the spices and caramelizing the sugar make for a sweet, rich flavor that can't be beat. Enjoy it in your favorite cocktails and toddies for over the top flavor. Whether you make a bottle to stock your bar or divvy it up for gifting, it is a fun liqueur to make.
Learn moreHoney Crisp Mountain Cocktail
This ice-cold cocktail still has warmth, thanks to a bounty of spicy autumn flavors. A mix of whiskey and apple brandy form the base of this drink, which we've paired with a honey-sweetened batch of Mediterranean Mountain Tea. With every sip you'll taste different herbs like marjoram, sage, rosemary, and mint, which cut through the bite of spirits. For a final touch of fall, we garnished it with a Cinnamon Toast Spice rim.

To celebrate our 25th birthday, we pulled out all the stops with our signature blend Ras El Hanout, which has over 20 aromatic spices. It imparts a lovely bright orange color to the syrup and the flavors lean right into the oaky American whiskey. Crisp lemon and honey mellow into the combination.
