Learn moreSpiced Monkey Bread
1 hr
Monkey bread is most often sweet, and served with a drizzle of syrupy glaze. Here we decided to give it a twist and make monkey bread that is salty, crunchy and savory. The soft, chewy rolls of dough are piled high and baked in a Bundt pan. To eat them you pick the pieces apart like a monkey! It's fun to eat and a festive addition to a potluck or holiday table. Serve the monkey bread with a sauce like sour cream, butter, marinara or olive oil. A small ramekin perfectly fits in the middle.
Learn moreHerbes de Provence Potato Leek Soup
15 min
Herbes de Provence is a classic French blend of garden herbs including marjoram, savory, chervil, thyme, dill weed, and tarragon. These delicate herbs give the broth a layered flavor and season the vegetables with a light touch. Every bite is a different texture with pops of salt from the capers. This soup can be easily made vegan using veggie stock, or if you want to indulge, add a splash of cream to your bowl for a chowder like soup that is perfect for dipping crusty bread.
Learn moreItalian Herb Quinoa Tart

We love quiche but it's a bit of a commitment, so for a quick and easy alternative to fill the quiche niche, we created this tart. It has all of the brunch flavors you crave, but instead of making a classic custard we folded together cooked quinoa, eggs and fresh ricotta salata for a luscious base. Easy! Combined with spring vegetables and a classic seasoning of Italian Herbs, this tart will be your new versatile brunch favorite. Caramelized leeks and sweet peppers were our first choice, but add in your favorite vegetables in any season.
Learn moreGarden-Veggie Focaccia
30 min
Garden-Veggie Focaccia is fun to make and a tabletop stunner. Both rewarding and forgiving, this recipe bakes up spongy on the inside with a crispy cheese crust. The secret to getting the top layer golden brown is our Nigella Caesar blend. It has all of the savory flavors of Caesar salad that go perfectly with the generous amount of olive oil and parmesan cheese in the focaccia. You can bake this in a deeper pan for sandwiches or a more shallow pan to cut out the perfect bread sticks. Have fun and use your imagination to decorate! Just cut off a square and enjoy it along with your favorite soup, salad, or marinara sauce. If you want a little more garlic flavor, melt some butter and stir in some Garlic Salt and brush the top of the freshly baked focaccia.
Learn moreTea Picnic
This post is for those of us who like the crusts cut off. The extra effort and attention that goes into making these beautiful tea sandwiches shows in every detail — the sweet shapes, the colorful combinations and, as always, the thoughtful flavor pairings. Make a platter for friends or a plate for yourself and enjoy a lazy summer picnic while the weather is fine. Since we're taking this picnic over the top, we've suggested some tea pairings as well. You can check out easy methods for cold brewing here!A bold curried egg salad is seasoned with our French inspired Vadouvan Curry, served on whole wheat bread and a cherry tomato topper. The flavor is deep and rich in this toasted blend with cumin, cardamom, mustard seeds, black pepper and fenugreek seeds. With a squeeze of lemon juice and watercress, these sandwiches go great with a malty Indian black tea like our Keemun black tea. For a cooling crunch with spectacular flavor, we seasoned the cucumber sandwich with our Orange Tarragon. This blend has chives, shallots, garlic and black pepper, adding many layers of flavor to the cream cheese spread complimenting the cucumbers. These cucumber sandwiches are anything but boring! Pair them with a cup of Rwandan Green Tea which is a vegetal green tea that will cut through the rich cream cheese and compliment the cooling cucumber. Because no picnic is complete without dessert, we made a sweet finish, open-faced mascarpone sandwiches. The creamy mascarpone gets its speckles from Madagascar vanilla beans that not only smell amazing, but go great with berries and a sprinkle of lemon zest. To finish off our tea picnic we paired a bold cup of Earl Grey with this sandwich. This classic tea is scented with bergamot, a perfect combo with the vanilla bean and sweet blackberries.
