The Hojicha Iced Latte is a delightful twist on traditional Japanese green tea. With its roasted aroma and cocoa-like texture, hojicha powder is a versatile ingredient. Grab your cocktail shaker and combine it with brown sugar, milk, and ice for a frothy and refreshing beverage. Get creative by adding boba or sweetened condensed milk for a unique twist. Experience the mellow, nutty, and malty flavors in this irresistible latte.

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Hojicha Powder 
  • 3 cups milk of choice (I used almond milk)

Directions

Fill 2 pint glasses with ice and set aside. 

Next, fill a cocktail shaker 3/4 of the way full with ice and add the brown sugar, hojicha and milk. Close and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.

Pour the frothy hojicha mixture into the iced glasses and enjoy immediately.
