Hojicha Powder
Hojicha is a roasted green tea that is finely milled to perfectly dissolve into your culinary creations. Rich, creamy lattes and tea-infused desserts will be at your fingertips!
Produced in the famed tea growing region of Kyoto, the tea leaves are harvested and carefully steamed, rolled, and dried. Then they are expertly roasted to bring out the distinct notes of cocoa and earthy undertones that distinguish this smooth and nutty Japanese tea. Each hex jar contains 12 grams of Hojicha. (12 g ≈ 2 1/2 tsp)
Warm Brewing Instructions:
- Whisk 1 teaspoon of Hojicha powder in 8 ounces of 175° F water until dissolved.
- Enjoy as is or add steamed milk or sweetener to taste.
Cold Brewing Instructions:
- Whisk, shake, or froth 1 teaspoon of Hojicha powder for every 6 ounces of liquid.
- Sweeten, ice, or add milk to taste.
