The origin story of Buffalo wings dates back to 1964 at the Anchor Bar, where Teressa Bellissimo created the dish using leftover chicken wings, hot sauce, butter, and a few other simple ingredients. This accidental creation quickly became a staple in American cuisine, especially for game day gatherings and bar snacks.
