Madras Curry Potato Salad

Madras Curry Potato Salad

30 min

Potato salad is such a ubiquitous summer dish. This recipe really brightens things up and breathes new life into potato salad. Its beautiful yellow color comes from our popular Madras South Indian Curry. The curry gives the salad incredible flavor alongside mustard, black pepper, cumin, and turmeric. Madras is a classic curry that will taste familiar and go great with the beloved potato. Fresh peas and crunchy bell peppers give the salad great texture. We used small Yukon potatoes so no peeling and little chopping is involved. This dish comes together with ease. Our dressing is kept light using half Greek yogurt for tang, rather than just straight mayo. Try making this for a lovely twist on a picnic classic or make it the star of a lettuce wrap!

Paprika Roasted Baby Potatoes with Black Garlic Aioli

Paprika Roasted Baby Potatoes with Black Garlic Aioli

It's a running joke at the shop is that we have never ate a potato we didn't like. Just because they're all delicious, however, doesn't mean we can't have favorites. This potato recipe makes for an easy side dish or appetizer, and we've found ourselves coming back to it over and over again. There are just a few ingredients here, but they're all full of flavor. The Hungarian Paprika is sweet, fruity and coats these baby potatoes beautifully. Alongside the potatoes, we made a Black Garlic aioli that you're going to want to put on everything. Black Garlic is fermented and fruity, somewhat reminiscent of molasses. It doesn't have the bite of regular garlic, and it has umami qualities similar to balsamic vinegar. Together, these mini potatoes and aioli make for a delicious and flavorful bite.

Mace Gnocchi with Butternut Squash

Mace Gnocchi with Butternut Squash

This hearty fall fare makes a great family meal and brings together some of the best flavors of the season. Potato gnocchi and butternut squash are a perfect pair but instead of hinting at Mace in the background, we've spiced the dish boldly and it didn't disappoint. This time the brown butter and sage are in the background and they nestle in nicely as an accent. Gnocchi takes quite a bit of hands-on time and the results are worth the effort, just make sure your potatoes are baked well to start and don't over-knead the dough. The result will be pillowy goodness with spectacular flavor and full bellies around the family table.
