Ceremonial Matcha
This ceremonial grade matcha is vibrant, intensely green, and made for whisking into a smooth, frothy bowl. Its rich umami and bittersweet vegetal notes are layered with hints of fresh grass and sweet green pea. Made from shade-grown tea leaves that are stone-ground into fine powder, the shading process increases chlorophyll and creates that signature color and deep flavor. Creamy and smooth on the palate with a pleasant bittersweet intensity that mellows into a lingering, savory finish.

Brewing Instructions
Sift 2 bamboo scoops of matcha powder (1 teaspoon) into a matcha bowl, using a fine, mesh tea strainer to remove any clumps.
Heat 2-3 Ounces to 170-180°F water (just below boiling)
Steep for Whisk vigorously with a chasen (bamboo whisk) for around 40 seconds. Use your wrist rather than arm, and move in a zig-zag motion (making the shape of the letter M or W) until tea is dissolved and a thick, frothy layer of tiny air bubbles covers the surface.
