Howard Lev makes these pickled peppers with a recipe from his family back East. The peppers are brined first and then preserved (not simply packed) in oil. The result is an amazingly flavorful pepper as well as an incredible oil that you can use in all your cooking or simply as a condiment. We don't typically carry "pre-packaged" products because they generally don't make the grade of quality but these peppers are an exception. Sit down with a good Tuscan bread, an intense cheese, and a jar of Mama's and you've got yourself a treat any time of day.
