Spiced nuts seem to have become an American holiday favorite and it's easy to see why: they're simple to make, they're delicious and they make great gifts. Our version plays up the "spicy" angle by including a touch of cayenne and yellow mustard seeds along with the more obvious cinnamon and allspice. Substitute for the spices in your favorite recipe or try our technique: Simply toss 1 pound of toasted pecans with 1/4 cup maple syrup and 2-3 tablespoons of "Spiced Nut Seasoning," spread on a baking sheet and bake at 200 for 15 minutes.
